Toy_car Neutral Newbie August 4, 2007 Share August 4, 2007 Hi Bros, need your advice on what kind of suspension to change for my coming 5years G9. My requirements are comfort yet hopefully dun have the feeling of car turn turtle when doing a fast turning. ↡ Advertisement
Vit4wd 1st Gear August 4, 2007 Share August 4, 2007 I think you are referring to shock absorbers? The Monroe range of shocks should meet your needs. Do take note thhat your G9's CG is high and body roll is very prominent. Pls do not attempt any fast corners on the G9, even with upgraded tyres. Toy_car Neutral Newbie August 4, 2007 Author Share August 4, 2007 Actually i just know that i need to change my suspension as i was told that my back wheels tyre has uneven wear due to weak suspension during i did my tyre rotation. But again if i were to change to a new set of original suspension, toyota suspension seem to be very weak as heard from the other bros here before. thats y i need the bros here to recomend me of what to change. Vit4wd 1st Gear August 4, 2007 Share August 4, 2007 Should not need to change suspension then. Just change shocks will do.

Toy_car Neutral Newbie August 4, 2007 Author Share August 4, 2007 what should i do to my 100K G9? i mean things that i should change in order to keep my ride.
Vit4wd 1st Gear August 5, 2007 Share August 5, 2007 Are you those who approach corners at neck breaking speeds? If not, just stick to stock replacements. Does not make sense to spend extra on a car with just 5 years' life span left. And you may change cars before its 10th yr too.

Streetbumpkin Neutral Newbie August 5, 2007 Share August 5, 2007 Definately comfort is compromised a little if you are to compare with stock. But passengers have all given positive feedback and find it acceptable.
