Evo7788 Neutral Newbie August 3, 2007 Share August 3, 2007 hi Magiclamp, 1st of all, what is ur ride, and which year's model? secondly, there are many brands of brake pads in the market, from original, aftermarket replacement, performance, to the not-so-originals. a set of new pads can cost anything from $60 to a few hundred dollars, depending on what brand and which workshop you go to. if you go back to agent, it may cost more than workshops outside, as agent prices are normally higher even for changing the same parts. my suggestion is go to a reputable workshop, and ask for a reputable brand of brake pad, as brake pads, together with tyres play an important part in daily driving safety. fyi, continental brands like Mintex, Bendix and Ferodo will generate more brake dust, but generally the braking power is slightly better than most stock pads for asian vehicles. cheers

Firefox Neutral Newbie August 3, 2007 Share August 3, 2007 Try Project U(read as mui) at stamford tyres. Better than stock but will cost you ard 100++ for disk type. Drum, not sure but shld cost lesser. Btw, the brake dust is really minimum & braking is .
