Can undischarge bankrupt eligible for election as member of council?

Noob question...can an undischarged bankrupt, be eligible for election as a member of a council (of a management corporation of a private condo) if his status (as an undischarged bankrupt) is declared in writing, by himself or another person during nomination?

 

Any idea is this is alrite, legal, etc...Thank u [smash]

i dun see it as a loophole..

 

eligibility for election does not = confirm elected.

 

it render fairness to all interested party within the same community to prevent exclusion being unduly imposed merely becos the person fails in his biz or becos of his role as a guarantor.

 

of cos during election, this can b put forth and see how the parties r willing to accept this person to b their representative mebbe becos of his special skills.

 

end of the day, u got 1 vote, he got 1 vote.

it is a loophole. unfortunately, like gays, there will b discrimination n uncalled for remarks when the kitchen gets hot. so one has to be well tempered by fire to b prepare to work under such condition.
