Bobucw 2nd Gear November 22, 2014 Share November 22, 2014 (edited) Been looking around, seems there are limited brand and range for SUV tyres. Currently on XM2, 215/65 R16 Forester 2009 2.0 Have been looking and reviewing these few, but not many places have stock. Some have commented that this size easy to find, but not really. For saloon Yes, but not so for SUV. Yokohama Geolandar G055 Bridgestone Dueler HP 680 Michelin Latitude Tour HP Pirelli Scorpion Verde Anyone has other recommendation ? 90% city / highway driving. Prefer quiet and good wet performance. 98 H rating minimum. Anyone have any idea on price and available ? Thanks. Thanks. your current tyre xm2 is already saloon type use tyre But I wont not classified them as saloon or suv tyre may be better as road(pure street/motorway use ) or off road will be more appropriate beside the above I had in mind which is available here in our market as Pirelli P1 cinturato yokohama advan db bridgestone dueler got 2-3 model Dunlop LM704 falken 912 kumho x3 model / nexen / roadstone / hankook toyo just drive around and ask any shop and place order with them happy hunting
Bobucw 2nd Gear November 24, 2014 Share November 24, 2014 (edited) Yah I know my XM2 is more suited to passenger/saloon cars,... but, wanted to try something new as most SUV tyres not available, so workshop recommended to try at dat time,... dat was 2 years plus ago. Now time to renew,... again facing the same problem. Most brand will say SUV tyres no stock,... then recommend some unknown brand / model... or have to wait long long coz they need to order in. One outlet has Wrangler HP AW,... but heard it's noisy. Will have to shop around to see who has the tyres I want,... but looks like might end up getting a normal saloon car tyre model. Thanks for the feedback. Edited November 24, 2014 by Bobucw
