Robertoon Neutral Newbie December 11, 2007 Share December 11, 2007 When driving SUV , it is important to know your driving style. Generally SUV tyre do not perform like a PCR tyre unless its a Ultra High Performance SUV tyre. Just like vehicle, SUV cannot handle like a Car unless its a high end SUV.... Chickenfarm Turbocharged December 11, 2007 Share December 11, 2007 I am dribing a 2006 model Suzuki GV...shld be on 225/70/R16 rite? Not dribing style I just come down from a MSCP slope on rainy days (wet ground) and the car just slide down a little even when i applied full brakes Scare the sxxt out of me...and I wasn't even dribing fast for crying out loud Luckily no cars in front of me Then I drove all the way up to top floor and come down again...nothing happens. But recently I encounter another time the vehicle slide forward a bit when I applied full brakes on the same slope. Maybe it is the problem of the flooring but if the tyre is good, such thing shouldn't happen rite?

Gregwoon Neutral Newbie July 26, 2010 Share July 26, 2010 Hi all, May i know where can i get SUV tyres or any shop that sell SUV tyres at good price? Thanks Hi, I recently changed to the Continental CrossContact UHP tyres. A bit pricey compared to the rest I think but very good performance in both wet and dry. Very low road noise too. This is comparing with my previous Bridgestone Duelers which came as stock on my SUV. Where did you get these and how much did you pay for them? Thanks

5936 1st Gear August 1, 2010 Share August 1, 2010 I have not seen V12 on SUV. But seen a number of DBs on SUVs. No offence but it kind of look like toothless tiger. rather lamed
Jeff3tan Neutral Newbie August 1, 2010 Share August 1, 2010 I have not seen V12 on SUV. But seen a number of DBs on SUVs. No offence but it kind of look like toothless tiger. rather lamed ha ha ... i thought about that as well. Put it this way, i had consider a couple of options either going with crossovers tyres or putting street tyres on them. As i do not drive my ride off road and my original tyres are Duelers HP sport which are meant for road rather than off road. And its so difficult to find my original tyres, tried many and all either no stocks or they are darn expensive for my current size. Ended up, i've just switch from a 215/60/17 to a 235/50/18 evo V12. I have to say the grip on the street is pretty amazing compared to my duelers though I've many praises to the Duelers HP Sport, they are very quiet tyres but comes to wet, my ride actually losing a lot of grip, dun talk about putting off road tyres on them it will be worst. I'm not really a light footer on my rise, my Duelers lasted me 40,000Km my 2 front side walls already botak, it spins from stationary when wet. Nevertheless I do agree with u on being a toothless for SUVs to have street tyres .... :) ↡ Advertisement
