All waxes and sealants will provide the shine. Most waxes will last 1 to 2 months, depending on how we upkeep the car (maintenance).

So, the #845 mentioned, will it preserve the paintwork?

Our weather sucks!

Today you polish and wax, tomorrow rain cats & dogs, then next day hot like hell, then next day rain cats & dogs again [bigcry]

3 days later, you see your car back to square one. Got detailed no detailed also cannot tell the diff [:p]

Its hard not to agree with u but for car lovers like me the extra effort will be worth it [thumbsup]

Got detail no detail hell of a diff! It will be much easier to get contaminants off as well as drying.

U from carworks?

u can't have both durability and shine in one product.

nope, not from carworks.

Hmm..

Pure carnauba is the hardest natural occuring wax. 100% carnauba block is HARDER than concrete. Let's take Vintage, which has 61% carnauba by volume. Whats the percentage of carnauba by volume of the collinite that you've mentioned? Is it No.1 rare white pure brazilian carnauba? or is it just synthetic wax?

By the way, as we all know in synthetic or petroleum-based products, the solvent will re-enter the paintwork overtime, so can it guarantee paint-preservation and not just shine?

One last question for now, how many exotic cars eg, ferraris, lambos, aston martin, bently, maseraties, porsches, etc use collinite?

anyways, everyone has their own preferences and use products that most suitable for them.. cheers!

Ha Ha !

After reading some of the posts in other thread.

I have the same feeling that he is from Carworks [lipsrsealed]

haha....

as mentioned, not from carworks. It'll be cheapskate of them to post ad here..

I'm just adding a suggestion to thread starter where a good place for grooming. I suggested carworks, cos not only they're good but also they use only the best product.

Take for eg, some ppl buy $200 swatch watch and some buy $20,000 Frank Muller ones. Both provide the same function - tells time. The difference lies in the quality, craftmanship and appreciation for the value of the product. And only those who knows (and of course can afford them..haha) will go for the latter.

CHeers!

I use before 18 dollars DG AW and 45 dollars NXT Meg Wax, the difference is noticeable, AW more user friendly, shiny, durable and glossy den the stupid costly NXT wax despite the premium price i paying for the NXT wax. However ur comparison maybe true if compare with a 200 bucks wax and a 20,000 bucks wax, such expensive wax confirm will deliver more den the 200 bucks wax

So I assume expensive cars only uses expensive wax.Maybe you should check out eurosport are their groomers using zymol wax..and how about those marseratis at carzomp.Dun watch too much Paul Dalton..

I dun drive exotic cars that is why I uses Collinite. If it is No 1 pure brazilian carnauba, you think it will be selling at $30.The percentage of carnauba content are some claims from manufacturer.Collinite claims 25% of carnauba in it but it dun bother me..as long it works fine and last for me.I can't comment much on their making of wax until I have a chance to visit their factory.

Yes I agreed everyone has their preference of products, the price, the ease of use etc.

Cheers

Well,we are just fighting claims from the manufacturer tat all..until we see the making, the content added in it and that would be more justified..

Have a good day!!smile.gif
