Slonez Clutched July 30, 2007 Share July 30, 2007 Quote just watched the campus superstar...witnessed how the 3rd judge harshly criticise the 3rd contestant...words like 'should thank the gods that you are still around in this competition'....'don't have worth will not get respect'...etc...etc...really feel sorry for the poor fellow...the judge criticism is too much...getting too personal...and in national tv somemore...this is harsh on the contestant self-esteem...the contestant is in the competition due to public votes...judges should not be personal...go ahead and criticise the singing but not personal attacks...just feels pissed when contestant get bullied... But that boy really cannot sing
Gabriel 1st Gear July 30, 2007 Share July 30, 2007 but i feel being a litte harsh is good.. dat way the contestants will feel the need to do better..to prove him wrong.. or sori to say..are u the kind who can not take criticism.hence this thread... no offense though.. but if u watched american idol..i believe simon crowell is much more sacarstic then this

I think he is not being harsh. His tone is rather nice. He see the need to let the contestant himself know that his standard shortfall by a lot. As a viewer in front of the TV, i personally feel that too. Not that i am an expert or what, but by listening him, it is really quite bad, and i will just stand up and go to the loo, go kitchen take some chocolates to eat and will be back on the sofa in front of the TV only when his turn is over. Only 5 remaining on the stage, dun u think he should pull up his socks? The judge's comments - whether to interprete them as criticism or encouragement is up to the contestant himself already. Albeniz Turbocharged July 30, 2007 Share July 30, 2007 The actual entertainment circle is full of harsh critics. The children need to get used to it if they want to be in this line.

Cannon Neutral Newbie July 30, 2007 Share July 30, 2007 (edited) In the previous SSS competition, the 5 judges has slightly different purpose. Ye Pei Fen is to critique on dressing and make up for contestant. Edited July 30, 2007 by Cannon

Gantan88 Clutched July 30, 2007 Share July 30, 2007 I think he should be out. The worst that could happen is that he got a lousy vocal but assume champion position because he won by irrational fans wasting unnecessary money making countless phone calls voting for him... So_nice 6th Gear July 30, 2007 Share July 30, 2007 the guy with the lowest points rite? 12.5/30 i think they wanted to kick him out which was why he got so low. too bad this time the pocket isnt as deep as before.
