Friendstar Supercharged July 30, 2007 Share July 30, 2007 http://www.sgcarmart.com/new_cars/auth_car_info.php?AC=879 For a 1.8 C200 Kompressor, its fuel consumption is excellent considering the 0-100 time, the horsepower and torque. i believe that this 8.8sec figure is even better than lexus is250. 1800cc versus 2500cc? any opinions? ↡ Advertisement

Azrielsc 1st Gear July 31, 2007 Share July 31, 2007 Usually, the European cars are generally understated in their figures. BMW is one of them.

Skinky 1st Gear July 31, 2007 Share July 31, 2007 We went to test drive the c280 to replace the old c240. For a c280, the options and accessories were limited (except for the avant garde body kit thrown in, almost everything else was a 'paid accessory') Road noise was very present at 100km/h, and the suspensions were very hard (due to avant garde edition). Acceleration was alright but i felt the c240 was faster. Agility is there but the steering wheel was extremely light. The active steering made the mercs feel like a japanese car and the whole ride didn't feel engaging. Buy the merc, because its a merc, nothing more. Comparing with the 320i, i'll very much prefer the 320 in terms of driveability, comfort and style. But the bm loses in knee space at the back and the boot. I was really disappointed, expected much more from merc. But to me, the CLS is still THE car to buy.
