This evening, as I was approaching a sheltered dropoff point(DFP) in an HDB estate, this DFP is located along a curved stretch of a small road(one of those leading to a MSCP). Just as I completed the turn and positioned myself closer to the left side to drop off my passengers, there in front of me are two man, one of late 40s, the other younger, both walking abreast of each other on the left side road, coming towards me.

Seeing them I stopped in my path, they too. We exchanged glances, and the older of the two gestured for me to loop around them!!

This is not unusual.

I have lost count of how many people I've seen strolling around on HDB driveways around blocks like its a park. [hur] In the first place the driveways are not that wide, and are usually winding, yet they refuse to walk single file along the side, and don't bother if there is a car approaching, they expect the car to "siam" them. Just the other night I honked at a group of 5 idiots walking side by side all holding hands and taking up the entire lane.

Problem with some newer HDB developments is that the access roads are a little "too over landscaped", the driveway itself is quite narrow and yet there are bends with tall plants and bushes blocking drivers' view. Last thing we need are these silly people walking around in the middle of the driveway [shakehead] Maybe all the landscaping makes them think they are in a park.

to be honest, if the two guys were to walk say a meter RIGHT wards, its inside the HDB void deck [crazy][crazy][crazy]

Anyway, the purpose of posting is to share n create awareness.

Most likely he's suffering from Parkinsons dieseas which is affecting his brain. U may need to remind him to consult a doctor for his condition. [laugh]

Precisely, no cars nvm but on the narrow carpark lanes, it's difficult to squeeze people on the roadside.
