Ms_tan Neutral Newbie July 25, 2007 Author Share July 25, 2007 sure, will go to those having painless experience during extracting... I don't mind the $$$ cos pain can really kill me.... & also time... Dentist must use painless method, fast & accurate to help otherwise I'm gg to die... hee, hopefully, this time really don't have bad experience. Oh, but for my case, I needs surgery to extract 2 of my broken tooth. As for another one, since it breaks half, think no surgery needed bah... Oh my, 3... can ask for knock off b4 doing... Btw, if pain still around, can do the extracting???

I removed my upper wisdom tooth few months ago, costs me around $130. No need to go back to remove stitches, I think it'll drop off by itself after around 2 weeks....think I swallowed it while eating.

Topgun Neutral Newbie July 25, 2007 Share July 25, 2007 I remember reading a thread here some time back on dentists or clinics that specialises in 'painless' dental work and surgery. Could someone dig it (thread) out? I'm also keen to find out. I had a root canal work (and fillings adjacent to the main culprit) done 2 years ago, it was hell, cost a bomb and done over a few visits. Not sure if there are 'better' methods and equipment for this kind surgery now if one is prepared to pay a bit more. My other side also have similar problem and need a root canal work done Any recommendatiions, bros?

Gearoil 1st Gear July 26, 2007 Share July 26, 2007 Quote Anyone gone thr extract tooth using the latest (dono called wat) like w/o pain something like tat... Why extract? Can't the broken tooth be cosmetically restored?... unless the roots are damaged and they are shaky.
Ms_tan Neutral Newbie July 26, 2007 Author Share July 26, 2007 no sure lei, it gives me pain lor... I mean I can feel the nerve pain from the broken tooth...
Gearoil 1st Gear July 26, 2007 Share July 26, 2007 If gums are O.k and tooth is stable, you can opt to root canal treat it and then later cosmetically restored it. Most dentist will know how to advise with the exception of those at NDC where their approach and attitude is to extract 'anything' to solve 'any' problem. Though it is cheap, don't go to NDC unless you have only to do routine dental cleaning. You can visit any private dentist or dental centres at NUH or CGH and they will advise you proper. Cheers. Fortress Clutched July 26, 2007 Share July 26, 2007 Yep...they premedicate you with Valium, anti-anxiety drug and then give you Nitrous Oxide or Hypnodontics, wala...painless dentistry.
