Taxi in Sticky Situation

You probably would not want to be in this taxi driver's position during the peak hour rush.

Along the Keppel Viaduct in Tanjong Pagar on 23 July at 6pm when he caught sight of this taxi which had mounted the road divider curb.

The taxi was stuck, and had even knocked a black and yellow barrier pole.

"I wasn't there to witness how he got stuck, but I sure heard that grinding sound from the undercarriage of his taxi as he tried to back off the curb."

Careless Driver.... [idea]

Recent personal witness of taxi incidents:-

- Mount kerb, whack lamp post

- Kena stopped by TP

Wish I was in a traffic jam at the time and could shoot those priceless moments, especially the TP one.

Cos if they claim, it goes on their records.

But I've witness quite a few accidents in the which the taxi was the one hitting the car in front.

As mentioned before, taxi companies do not change tyres in pairs and I have also seen some badly worn out taxi tyres.

These taxi drivers from 'Comfort' told me that their taxis are due to be scrapped soon, hence the taxi co.'s unwillingness to replace their worn tyres.
