Crusader75 Neutral Newbie July 21, 2007 Share July 21, 2007 Hi, So how's your first feel with the tyres? Also looking at thes tyres... are they reasonably quiet and comfortable? I'm looking for something that has a good balance of comfort, noise and traction (dry/wet).
Darkblue 1st Gear July 22, 2007 Share July 22, 2007 KU31 is ECSTA SPT, very value for money for its price Not like other china made tires cheap price, cheap quality
Lh77 Neutral Newbie July 22, 2007 Share July 22, 2007 Hi, I am happy so far with the tyres, as compared to my previous set of Turanza ER300. It is quiet and dry grip is good for me. Again, it depends on how agressive you are during your cornering but for my style of driving, I am pretty happy with them. No regrets getting them. I guess you can take a look at KH11 as well, and I think they are pretty well rated and maybe even cheaper than KU31.
Hattee Neutral Newbie July 22, 2007 Share July 22, 2007 When you order, the tyres probably are straight from warehouse. They are usually newer than those ex-stock sitting 6-18 months in the tyre shops. Go for P*h H**g, they can't take from other shops which cannot stand the honest pricing of Justin. Global stock for KH-11 seems to be getting low unless production in Korean caught up. Alternatively, ECSTA SPT and Toyo T1R are among the best for comfort and performance which many costing 30%-50% more might not able to beat.
Orac Clutched July 22, 2007 Share July 22, 2007 (edited) I got my 16inch KU31s from this shop at near Alexander Village last year. I called 3 different shops before... .this one gave me the best price. Called them and went down to get it fix 1.5hrs later Just dig out the invoice... here's the info: Yew Lee Battery Company blk 1001 Bukit Merah Lane 3 #01-65 tel: 62722033, 62731797 Seriously, I must agree KU31 is good on both dry and wet road.... but best of all.... value for money for UHP tires! BTW, has anyone tried the kumho tires with lavender fragance? Edited July 22, 2007 by Orac

Threadman Neutral Newbie July 24, 2007 Share July 24, 2007 You can try the Eagle Store at Kaki Bukit. Look for Terry at 62802778. See if they got stock.
Chromas 1st Gear July 24, 2007 Share July 24, 2007 Give the other deals a ring. Try Terry at Eagle Store (Kaki Bukit) or even Teo Hin Tires (also at Kaki Bukit) can get them ordered in half a day. Here are a shot of the 17" KU31 Kumho red smoke tires that I used for drifting that other time. Great predicatable control in mid drift. I'm driving with almost 10% threading remaining on my current Kumho's and they're handling very well even in today's rainy weather.
Ericang69 Neutral Newbie July 25, 2007 Share July 25, 2007 Hi Bro, Care to share - is the side wall for this KU31S hard or sofe.
