Water wetter

Just flushed my coolant system myself, and dump the whole bottle of water wetter about 2L in it, worry if that's little too much, should be around 50/50 cos I added a bottle and half of 1.5L distilled water. Can any bro advise. Didn't wanna keep the balance that's why. No over heating issue and constant at about 95degree in night driving.

I used the premix one before.easy. no need to measure anything. But ur temp still quite high leh... My normal Night driving normal cruising speed only 80 degrees.

Is 95 degrees normal for advante?

Thanks for the quick reply(: not sure I it's premix another but it's a 2little kind. Bought at autobacs. Previously using Toyota Long life coolant just pour water to make up the remaining rediator to full. I was trying to let the new coolant settle in and check if I have to top up.

95 is when I keep my revs high. If not its around 85-90 thereabouts . Daytime normal driving about 95avg that's why tryin to see I magic water wether could really bring my temp down by 10degree claimed. :)

They have the premix, meaning it has already been mixed with distilled water, thus just pour the whole thing in and voila!i bought mine at e-rev motorsport, a dealer in this forum.Night driving as mentioned, at 80 degrees water temp, which is very decent.Might differ from car to car I guess, mine is Satria Neo, maybe ur quoted temp for your car is considered better than average.

WW is only useful for racing application if I'm not wrong, its not of much use for street driving as it does not have overboil protection.

Not true, even though WW doesn't have overboil function, it make up with it with 50% better heat transfer rate than normal 50/50 coolant system. If it's doesn't boil over in race/track car with constant 7200rpm WOT, why do you think it will boil in your car?

I agree that WW is abit overkill in our street car but it's a matter of how much safety margin one wants. Like most ppl will choose Fully Synthetic engine oil even though modern mineral oil will work just as well.

Can share which mineral engine oil recommended for 20k km servicing interval (manufacturer's recommendation)?

when u have brown sludge/stuff in your coolant, please have cooling system checked. For me, it meant that my tranny fluid was leaking into the cooling system, and had to have it replaced (the radiator or something like that).

I've been on ww+water for almost a year now in a new ride, if it were not for this thread, I would have forgotten about it.

I believe someone did it deliberately if you find tranny fluid in your engine coolant, since they are physically separated system.

Maybe it's that little snail that is woken up in low rpm range therefore the high temp Which the figure is quite worrying to me even in night driving.

Isn't it the lower the better it should be.

Redline should be quite safe. I was using 5w30 armsoil till 100k when I check my rings and open up the inside to check its shiny clean like new.

I thought that one not mineral engine oil, but semi synthetic engine oil? [confused]
