Kyojin 1st Gear November 8, 2008 Share November 8, 2008 damping and spring height are two different things. if it's rubbing with full load, your springs are too short (or you are carrying too much weight). dampers control the rate of damping (aka rate of spring return) so that your car does not "bounce" ↡ Advertisement

Kyojin 1st Gear November 10, 2008 Share November 10, 2008 try vogtland springs or apex. if they say they "don't have" fitment for EP70, say EP80. same size.
Kyojin 1st Gear November 10, 2008 Share November 10, 2008 time to change again... seriously, if you just changed, go back to the shop and demand a replacement. by the way, bounce means when the car is stopped, press down hard on the rear boot and release quickly. it should only bounce once. there is definitely movement. Kyojin 1st Gear November 11, 2008 Share November 11, 2008 they quoted me S$350 the last time (labour extra) if it's really a week old and cash&carry, i say it's a good deal. but that depends on the labour costs as well... coz seller may want you to fork out for swap or labour. do you maths.
