Am just wondering if i am the only one particular about this but just want to understand if this is part and parcel of cars whether it is new or old. Mine is having intermittent rattling sound around the dashboard or front passenger seat. Driving me nuts at times... [crazy][crazy] trying to figure out exactly where or what causes it. Already removed all possible objects around the area but still got this. [dizzy]

its under warranty go get it fixed.

no need to be mr nice guy after taking into consideration of the huge profits that these distributors make from each car.

to add salt to injury if coe goes down a few hundred to 1-2 thousand they dont refund you.

so either you let the sound drive you crazy or you drive them crazy.

the choice is clear [laugh][laugh][laugh]

Supersonic

My new car has no rattling sound. But that's probably just the luck of the draw.

Things get worse, if you have local installers molesting it by installing some aftermarket devices like reverse sensors, alarms, leather seats, etc.

Yes, it is. [:(] The thing is it is intermittent so hard to catch the source. It only gets extra irritating when cruising and jus wanna enjoy the music sounds instead of the on/off rattling noise. Any idea how to squeeze the service centre to look into this problem? [sly]

Turbocharged

If it is intermittent, the sound may not appear when the technician is in the car doing the testing with you.

Why not consider using a mp3 recorder to record the sound throughout the journey.

Edit away the part where the car is quiet and highlight the noise. This way, the technician might have a better idea.

Don't need to solve this yourself, you paid a high price, let the worker solve it for you.

My civic got no such problem leh. Heng ah.

Rattling sound coming from behind the glove box maybe? Sometimes one of the wires not secure properly can make rattling sound like my friend's RSZ.

i agree it's about luck whether your brand new car got funny sound or not.. it's not life and death but it just irritates you when it happens.

i know lexus aren't free from noises too, brand new ones.. again it's your luck that counts.
