Jamesgetz 4th Gear July 18, 2007 Share July 18, 2007 (edited) can consider trying 3M rim cleaner. cleans well and no funny smell. no need to wait and from my experience, it's doesn't corrode the rim paint (even for my cheapo taiwan rims ) Edited July 18, 2007 by Jamesgetz

Ahbengdriver 6th Gear July 24, 2007 Author Share July 24, 2007 (edited) how many ppl interested? I can get the stock from local distributor direct. I tried 2 times already on my wheels, 1 week apart just to test the ffect of cleaning when wheels are washed with sonax only once a week. My rims arre BBS CK-colour silver painted. Ups - The sonax really works, is easily to use, just spray and leave for action hose off. Its good if u have stubborn dirt which has been there for sometime. Really makes cleaning easier. downs - smell. also I find u need to spray quite a lot so as to wet all areas. Means can use up a bottle quite fast. Otherwise I was thinking maybe use a small sponge to spread the solution to areas the spraying cannot reach. I find some areas still need a bit of soap cleaning to rounds off the cleaning process. overall - I was quoted quite a 'lousy' price for sonax by distributor, but he did say if buy in bulk got discount. Yes so where is the group buy? Edited July 24, 2007 by Ahbengdriver
L00khere Neutral Newbie July 25, 2007 Share July 25, 2007 halow glad that u'r happy with the product. yes i agree to spray on a piece of cloth of sponge to spread across a bigger area and the smell kinda stay but then again, it doesn't really matter after awhile especially when yr rims r clean and shiny!!! as for pricing given by the distributor? u don't mean me hor? i only help to distribute but not really a distributor leh... Abba Neutral Newbie July 26, 2007 Share July 26, 2007 The best part is SONAX rim cleaner removes the brake dust & grim but not harsh on the paint. I've used other brands of rim cleaner, they are harsh and removes the lacquer and the rims turn dull
