Falken RT615 ridiculous pricing

I check with Stamford today, the best best price they give me for 215/40/17 is $270!!!

Initially i was expecting the price to be less than AD07 ($225) becos i was considering cheaper alternatives to the AD's... the salesperson was like "rt615 flaghsip model wat". so what? the rt's only pulls 0.06 longitudinal G's more than the AD's.

Just curious... how come can mention Stamford, but cannot mention the other tyre shop's name.

 

But anyway, the prices at Stamford are known to be higher than shops outside.

Wow. That's a high price.

 

If considering more budget alternative than ADs then consider Hankook R-S2. Dry grip equal to ADs and much better in the wet

i am not surprised.

i was quoted $260 by stamford but got fresh tires from another source for $190 ea.

 

i think u should check the price properly b4 whining.

 

RT615 is good tire...dont give it such a bad image.

 

and yah...AD07 should be slightly cheaper than RT615 instead of $225.
