There is one silver KE30 parked at Pending (Bukit Panjang) area.

It's external looks well-maintained.

There is also an Ah-gong starlet (the late 70s model) at Bukit Panjang.

i'm not in a urgent rush to sell the car, so i'm going to wait for a buyer to take the car as a complete package. will only part out if going to trade-in to the dealer.

hi & welcome!

well...u have some good qns. Since i have driven only nissan pulsar & starlet, i cant comment on esi much. but a fren of mine who once owned an esi said it was prone to overheating, but that could only be an isolated case. havin said that, the starlet is definitely one of the fun-nest coe car u can buy, & is also cheap to maintain & run. On top of that, due to its light body (abt 900kg), its has great power to weight ratio, meaning it can go quite fast for a car of that era. Its also an over engineered car, meaning it can handle stress to its chassis very well. wif just some inexpensive mods, road handling is superb! road tax also cheap as its only 999cc. To prevent yourself from getting a 'lemon' (a car prone to problems) for any models, best to get someone or a mechanic who knows abt that particular model to check out the car wif u b4 buying. or just send it for used car inspection (at AA for eg).

hmm ask this question in starlet forum? of course is buy starlet lah. [laugh]

every make has its lemon. all depends on how the previous owners take care of it. if u want a honda i think at least also go for dohc la, eg6/9 or ek4. stock already quite fast. but haf to bear in mind many wear and tear parts to change. and mod is not cheap.

starlet is budget motoring at its best. its far better then a picanto/kelisa. and these cars are almost 20 yrs younger but yet not as good. fun car no doubt but dun expect it feel fast against those big cc TC cars.
