Yeobh 4th Gear July 3, 2007 Share July 3, 2007 This type with straight chuck is much cheaper than those with long hose

Madsumm 1st Gear July 3, 2007 Share July 3, 2007 prob with straight chucks is that.. if you have multispoke rims like me.. its a pain to get it in.. still like the tube ones... will look around abit.. maybe i get from Germany.. wahaha.. Rgds
Xefera 6th Gear July 3, 2007 Share July 3, 2007 don't think nitro is that long lasting, probably only advantage is that it remains cooler than normal air when you go for long drives. what type of probe are r u using? stay away from those stick type where the reading extends at the end of the probe. better to go for a better gauge, search the forum for more info. think there is one recommended by Genie which i am using. Kklee 6th Gear July 3, 2007 Share July 3, 2007 The one recommended by Genie47, Mustafa no longer selling
Yeobh 4th Gear July 3, 2007 Share July 3, 2007 For mutispoke rims, SUV wheels, double wheels etc you sholud use this gauge as photo with long chuck that can take straight and angular tubless valve
Yeobh 4th Gear July 3, 2007 Share July 3, 2007 (edited) Those gauges selling in Mustafa are of the reputable brand - but apparently the brand name have disapeared. Looks to me they may be of clearance stock from a local importer .Last yr I come across few of them been sold online in UK but at much higher price. Xefera 6th Gear July 4, 2007 Share July 4, 2007 is that right? but there are some similar ones on sale. thought i saw some on yahoo auctions on MCF classifieds
Slowleg Neutral Newbie July 8, 2007 Share July 8, 2007 Quote I see... To me I'm not so crazy about the numbers cos to me that small amount is insignificant. I did it at KM, so every servicing I'll just ask them to check. Just yesterday I changed my set of tyres and then drive to KM to top-up(not far from workplace), I realise having pure nitro the ride is slightly more comfy and quiet. I dunno, maybe it's just me. Bro, new tyres that's why quite la. Old tyres with vulcanized/harden rubber is noisy.... not to mention dangerous in the wet. Your new sensation of comfy and quiet due to your new set of tyres... nothing to do with Nitrogen gas in the tyres. Enjoy, Cheers
Kklee 6th Gear July 8, 2007 Share July 8, 2007 (edited) I hope the local importer does clearance sale at Mustafa again! Edited July 8, 2007 by Kklee
Kklee 6th Gear July 8, 2007 Share July 8, 2007 IIRC, the one at Mustafa is much cheaper and of good quality. Just dropped by my gauge and it went bonkers! I just hope Autobacs has the same for sale.
Xefera 6th Gear July 8, 2007 Share July 8, 2007 think autobacs shld have. remember seeing something similar to the one i am using. only downside is u need to screw the valve into ur tyre thread - not the plug in type use at petrol pumps.
Kklee 6th Gear July 8, 2007 Share July 8, 2007 Ok, will check it out including the screw-in type.
