Headlight beam alinement

Hi,

Does anyone know any workshop has the machine to do the headlight alinement? went inspection last month and was told that the beam are too high. advise????

Next time, tell them this' factory fitting. Too high or too low was R&D by car manufactory.

can DIY, there's usually some spring adjustment at the headlight assembly. tho u passed, good to adjust it coz if it's too high, it looks like high beam and quite glaring to other drivers. [;)]

[nod][nod] beli eazi, open ur bonnet locate the back of headlights, there's a screw of alignment on each side. when do so, park car infront of a wall. on ur lights to determine on hi or low ur light is then adjust acorrdingly. [scholar] btw, park abt one car length away from wall. [nod] hapi diy

that's what i'm trying to avoid cos i hate those ppl with high beam on behind your car.... some taxi like to modify it in such a way that one high one low... [furious]

my car now a bit 1 high 1 low... i trying to align it. but still can't find the screw to adjust.

the beam shld be abt ur headlights' level for low beam n abt bornet height for hi beam. correct me if anyone dn't agree with me pls. [:)]

If I remember correctly, headlights adjustment reference is on the high beam only.

The height should not be higher than the height of the beam level.

The distance from the wall is approx 5ft(rough estimate)

can we call the taxi companies to complain about those cabs with misaligned lights? taxis are already a menace on the road. together with these type of lights, its an accident waiting to happen.
