Gear cannot engage

hey bro,i cant locate the button you mention in my car.where is yours located?

my button is located just by the side of my gear, it is quite small and I need to use a pen to press it fully.

 

Think most auto car will has that button and maybe also quite small that why we hardly even bother to notice it or even try to bother to find out what is it for.

 

Just look around for any small flat button, if not try to check your manual.
