I think it's quite subjective lor. ie, that day, when she saw my handsome face, the colour of her face maybe different? Sometimes a smiling face on a person's face makes a difference to the score lor.

 

If you visit all the workshops in Singapore, and comparing all those ppl talking to you (90% are men), I think she is So it's also a case of relativity.

 

Just like last time....when we come out of army camp, see any women we also think it's super beautiful.

 

Aiyah maybe that day her makeup was indian theme lor.....told you she saw my handsome face liao loh....

Bro, you can try Yew Lip for rims repair

I checked out YL recently. The lady was very unenthusiastic when she heard I wanted a rim repair/spray. She didn't even want to look at my rims and just quoted $400 for 4 rims and said waiting time is very long. I asked how long and she said 1 month.

 

Maybe that day I look very handsome and she don't want to do my business? sigh.

 

End up now I found another repair shop. Took him 3 days to deliver and cost $180. I thought it was ok pricing given that he had to grind, putty, spray primer, spray paint, spray lacquer all using slow dry paint.

I also find Yew Lip pricing expensive, they quoted $300 for a side scratch at the rear bumper caused by a motorcycle. It was a old man whom quoted me.

Good luck brother, there is totally no way to solve it nor avoid it.

My rim even worse than yours after crashing on the curb for few years.

She told me before that rim resprays are not a core offering - it's a service for paint job customers. That could be the explanation for the reaction you received.

 

I had mine done at Leong Seng, which sold me the rims. Cannot remember the price now, but again it's a service for customers who bought rims off them, and they outsource the actual job anyway.

Looks like price went up quite abit. My fren just called to respray 1 17" black rim. Was quoted $50 by frankie.
