Bro..

This is because F1 is really superb in the past, when they are "Made in Germany" [thumbsup]

Although standard already dropped after moving to "Made in Thailand", people still think very highly of F1. [:/]

Same thing will happen if CPC2 shift to "Thai", people will still think it is good until someone skidded and crash.... [bigcry]

I haven't tried CPC2 but I hear that is over-rated too.

Just ditched my Thai F1s for Made in Japan Goodyear Revspec RS-02s. And what a stark difference. The Tomyams had poor directional stability, vague steering, weak sidewalls and poor cornering grip. CMI! - in a relative sense of course.

FYI - I am on 205/55 R16.

Wah Liao...

Justin's shop so veri veri small. [:p] .. how to keep all the models and sizes, note that that little shop also have to keep "used" tyres that was taken out of our cars... [:/]

Please order 2 days in advance and make sure that the stock are in before you drop by...

Try to avoid weekends [shakehead] .. preferably 10:30am to 11:30am on weekdays, no queue... [thumbsup]

got consider revspec also but only got 16inches at least

so many good tyres only got above 16 inches

anyway now only 23,000+ km on the GY F1 let it hit past 30,000 see how

wet grip as priority, revspec is out, its good for straight line dry only

if ur budget allows why not consider preceda, t1-r, cpc2 or v8rs

Bro...

If you are still using Bridgestone B391, I advise you to change immediately, your life is more important, I have heard many stories about MPVs skidded using this tyre during wet weather [sweatdrop][sweatdrop]

Unless you drive very very slow during wet days... [:/]

I heard from one WS that there will be shortage of Thai's F1 due to a fire there. You will see more German made F1 instead. This is just hear say.

Regards,

confirmed, there was a fire, and now their plant is temp shutdown. so some of the sizes will not be avail.

two days ago, my 195/55/105 thai gs-d3 got a small sidewall cut, called a few places boh, reasone quoted as above.

ended managed to find one pair somewhere in one of the distros.

the tyre in question is the Made in thailand models which doesnt have any reviews or documentation thats states it has the same compund as the german made ones.

[laugh][laugh][laugh] do you tink any car maker will state in ink that their tomyam version is different / same as their sushi version ? So are they different or same.

However, I hv hear that one uses the org. cmpd. while the other a tropical cmpd. This one confirmed, hear from distros and Goodyear guys before.

1. No wonder my friend told me he recently replaced his worn Thai made F1 tyres with German made F1.

2. To him, he found no difference in them. Look almost the same, price about the same, except Thai one has "made in Thailand" wording and the German one has "made in Germany" wording.

Regards,

regarding what compund.. i think the disributor just come up with some reason or stories and things just spread from the word of mouth.

distributor definitely want to protect their product so cannot 100% believe them
