"invisible" water spots?

I noticed that when I apply liquid wax or QD and while it is still wet, I will notice many spots which resemble waterspots on the car surface. However, these spots will disappear when the chemical dries off.

 

Are these water spots?

Can they be removed by SRP or something more abrasive?

I know what you mean . You can try those stronger cleaner products like SRP or JW Prime Strong, they should be able to clear those 'invisible' water spots.
