Lukesky Neutral Newbie July 1, 2007 Share July 1, 2007 Quote hi keith, i think u r just sharing yr experience and excitement but got bombarded with so many cynical questions.. kinda sympathise u.. just to let u know that alot of forum users who critices alot of stuff actually have not tried any mods before (I must stress that i am not agreeing that this maxzone works as i did not try it). some dun even drive yet comment alot in car forums. and some will criticise everything from politics to gadgets to car mades(usually the only one thing they wll not condemn is their own car). so dun take comments from forums too personally Well there are many views about such things. It all depends on mindset really, if a person believes in something hard enuf, no need to try also will believe it works. Like everyone knows that jumping off a building will kill u, they 'know' that such products won't work based on their knowledge of how the car works. Anyway, even if it worked, will it continue working after 3 mths, 1 year? Will ECU compensate and u're back to square one? Let's face it, this is no I/H/E mod where the gains are tangible. Everyone's concerned with whether it works when u first try it out, yes it might work, but will it stop working 3 weeks from now? Will u pay $100 or 200 for something that works for X amount of weeks/months? This is the question that no one is asking or trying to find out the answer to. ↡ Advertisement
Gim_ong Neutral Newbie July 2, 2007 Share July 2, 2007 (edited) "What makes you think that by shooting down this Keith10w fella's comments, no one is going to guess you might be the seller or sales guy for another product in the market...? :P I'm sorry if I may not be around long enough to know that maybe you are the forummaster. " Well owner of Maxzone, I would say that the perceived impression of Kieth10 as salesperson of Maxzone is not solely mine. There are a few personnel in this forum have agreed that this impression is pretty strong. Even Rx-8 grand master Gfoo, have similar thoughts. I am not a sales person for any product as my full time job is an accounts Auditor. I am actually looking at the investment in Maxzone. " Is it worth it after all ?" It seems like Maxzone OVER promised under delivered. It that really true? Please follow this thread closely. Thankx to Keith10, after his "GREAT Review" on Maxzone, cause some sales boost on Max zone. Unfortunately this has given birth to a number of dis - appointed end users. If product does work, it should work all the time. Just like APPLE MacBook. Typical un-ethical Sales person ACT. This is what I called SOCIAL Responsibility. Gim_ong Neutral Newbie July 2, 2007 Share July 2, 2007 Piget88, You have quoted with the example of the perception of a Movie in comparision to Maxzone. YOu are not selling CAR Grooming services or any Car Cosmetic Product. YOu have been trying to explain away the negative points of Maxzone when Gfoo confirmed that Maxzone does not work, with an analogy of a movie??!! Please be serious in posting, you are selling an Engineering product or we should say a SCIENCE product as Maxzone is dealing with the Car Engine system with scientific intelligence. A Movie which is totally an ARTistic subject!!!!! Are you selling Science Technology or ART ? Cheers Gimmy
Keith10w Neutral Newbie July 2, 2007 Author Share July 2, 2007 Haha.... Its good to hear fellow members feedback of my "review" aka first take. Perhaps I am way too excited, but still wanna stress that I have nothing to do with Maxzone.. I am also not a sale person for any product, my full time job is a manager in Japanese firm. A forum is to share, discuss, perhaps we should be more open and friendly towards such matter, no point for us to exchange blows because of a product discussion.. Just my two cents worth of thoughts.. <>
Keith10w Neutral Newbie July 2, 2007 Author Share July 2, 2007 Hi Chucky, I took great courage to write this so called "review" in MCF Hence when I am writing I am prepared to receive any form of comment that I will received, I do believe that there is lots of fellow members whom feels skeptical about such electronic products and I strongly believe that they have their share of experiences and story thats why they posted. To believe or not is really up to individuals, but to me if I can feel the difference may it be minor or major I will believe and take faith in such product, however the question is whatever I pay is it justifiable for the performance which I expect? It is a decision which only the particular individual whom bought and used the product can answer and for myself, I feel that it is perfectly justifiable for me to spent that amount given with my financial circumstances and LTA regulation on "huge gain performance hardware(TC,SC, Intake manifold, exhaust mod, etc..)" considered. But rest assure that I will tame down my excitement if I were to write anything about a product.
Wl3gan Neutral Newbie July 10, 2007 Share July 10, 2007 Quote I have to agree with Gimmy. Keith10, you really sound like a maxzone sales person, and for your info your 'review' ranks as one of the most ridiculous ones i've ever read Now that communicasia is over, i'll be getting back to my ez-stab vs maxzone review and will be posting that soon. I'm not gonna comment on the ezstab, but maxzone CONFIRM STAMP CHOP DOES NOT WORK AS ADVERTISED How soon?
Yooyoo99 Neutral Newbie August 3, 2007 Share August 3, 2007 Quote hmmm, i do not know why people are so critical and unforgiving in this thread? isn't a forum a place to share information? of course there are truths and false info outside there, but if one choose to make any comments, isn't it better to try out a product before putting the product down? i have personally tried out the max zone GT with 2 of my friends. we tested it out on an altis and honda jazz. the drivers and passengers all agreed that they are some difference with and without the GT installed. we choose to give the product a try, running a risk that it may eventually not turn out to be what the spec claim to be. review for the maxzone GT installed in my altis before installation, FC 12.40 12.53 12.27 12.14 after installation + 30k servicing, FC 12.41 12.45 12.01 12.13 personally do not see any saving on mileage. note that driving habits do not change much before and after installation. on the positive side, i really do feel that the car becomes more responsive during fast acceleration. also lesser engine noise and less rough, when accelerating around 3-4k rpm. similar to the blind test the work shop conducted before i buy. on the very negative side, the double sided tape used to stick the maxzone onto the side of my battery came off, and it is now hanging partially. looks i need to use wire to fasten it myself. this is an area the supplier definitely can improve. overall - $260 a bit too expensive for a more responsive car, but like the kick of it

Axela72 5th Gear August 24, 2007 Share August 24, 2007 So, which voltage stabliser is best? Maxzone, P max, EZ-Stab, Violence VS, Pivot VS.....? If all give the same result, then we should choose the cheapest one.
Gim_ong Neutral Newbie August 25, 2007 Share August 25, 2007 (edited) I personally is very curious, what exactly is the results.... I do not think it is wise to trust the commercials.... , so called their claim of dyno test of anything.... they all tested by The commercial company of : Maxzone, P max, EZ-Stab, Violence VS, Pivot VS. so what if they have tested and have posted their dyno test, on their website... They are just trying to promote their products only. I dun think Pivot even have a DYNO test. I am just curious, I may end up doing a personal project, using my own car or some of my friend's car ... to go DYNO myself... I really want to see .. if the products has been BULL SH**ing or even OVER CLAIMED. I will hereby request for all the fellow brothers in MCF who have bought the above product to ask if can borrow their VS. I am paying for the DYNO... man .. can only do it once part by part, maybe monthly or fortnightly.... Dyno is real Expensive. Sorry guys, I cannot afford to buy all the products and test it and pay for the DYNO. For instance MAX zone GT is $288. man I can do a few DYNO test with that kind of price. The price for a DYNO test is ard $100 plus / hr. I am requesting to borrow the following product below, and I will return it immediate once the test is over. Owner of products can witness dyno test with me. 1) Violence VS 2) Pivot Razin 3) Maxzone GT 4) D1 Spec VS 5) RMK VS 6) Hot InaZma 7) EZ - Stab EXTREME 8) ADM Power pass 9) Power Max Version R I am going to test for BHP gain. Will post the DYNO test result for all to see. I have beginning to feel cheated by all these VS, some of them even claim that they can have 20HP gain. Any brothers willing to Lend their gadgets for testing? Sorry man i am paying for the test fee out of my own pocket. Gim_ong Neutral Newbie August 25, 2007 Share August 25, 2007 Sorry guys, I will only deal with END users, I do not wish to talk to representative of the commercial companies mentioned. I want to test to absolute FAIR. I do not wish to have the commecial companies sales and marketing to Private message me paint me anything so that I will have a good perception of their PRODUCTS. END - UESERs ONLY! Cheers Gimmy Ong
Cpnfu Neutral Newbie August 26, 2007 Share August 26, 2007 err ... this product only works on certain car model. So anyone got the alternative model from ebay ? wat's the feel after installed ?
Vtim 3rd Gear August 27, 2007 Share August 27, 2007 The Battery Desulfator will work on those normal battery that requires you to top up battery water, it is not car model dependent
Dirtrider_ak Neutral Newbie November 10, 2007 Share November 10, 2007 (edited) Just do the Dyno test with certification. If it is good, people will pay. Why are you worried about ending up as personal project? That gives me a negative impression of the product to produce a dyno test result. To me it is a voltage stab + a pulse desulfator. What i see will happen is the bettery life will have a slight extention only. As for the v.stabb .... only will help on the ice department. As for testing other products. Talk to your vendor about it. If they are not willing to assist you as reseller ... I would not what to buy the products. Because I forsee they would not want to support end customer as well. The rest about performace gain is snake oil. Edited November 10, 2007 by Dirtrider_ak
