wow..fantastic FC for a sylphy...i can barely get 10km/l.Best is 11km/l. You travel mainly on highways?

For the sound, i also have. Think it has something to do with the coupling. Ask your mech to check it out at the next servicing.

Changed mine to Yoko A-drive...on some roads, a bit noisy but still acceptable. Dun think Sound Clad has much effect though... But dun really bother about the road noise...planning to go for more grippier tyres.

Hi,

I am driving like 60%(highway) vs 40%(city), quite a bit of harsh driving too.

I will drive up about RPM 4,000 before I change higher gear. Bty, I have introduced better air flow into the system, and spark boosting, maybe that is why it can achieve 12.5 to 13.0 km/L.

I have used GR 80 in my previous car, Nissan Sunny 1.5L. Don't really have any issue with it except once I slammed my full brake to avoid a E-brake taxi along AYE in the morning. The hard slamming of the brake caused smoke rising from the two front type and I managed to stop just only in time to gently kiss the taxi bumper. To my surpise, taxi bumper don't even have a dent. Mine need a bit of touch up.

I am considering to choose Hankook RS 2 or GR 80, do you know the new pricing for the 15 inchs?

Well, I am still satisfied with Sylphy 1.5 L, big interior room, low road tax, good FC, good pick-up. Wht more can I ask? next level, I will be look at Conti car.

Enjoy your drive and do train your engine by driving it up to 4,500RPM.

Thanks & regards.

haha..thanks. I tend to rev my car quite a bit too. [laugh]

What did you do to the air intake? Change filter? For the spark boosting, yah, used before on previous ride. But after a while, macham not effect...

Dunno about the pricing...contemplating Hankook V8 or Bridgestone RE050..
