25/6 10am leaving Phuket to Ipoh

Will be rotating drivers between me n my fren. But car never rotate lah, so siong one is the car.

The tour driver that drove me around to Khao Sok told me you can more or less cover the whole of Thailand in 5days.

 

He advises against traveling at night because it is dark and secondly, petrol stations close at 6pm though the more isolated ones will close later at 8pm.

 

I now know where to go for elephant trekking in Khao Sok. Might visit the dam next time.

i do agree that travel @ night is not safe esp when ur on a new road, u may miss some direction and changes of u landed in a place where u do not hv any slightest idea where u are is pretty high ....

The other year end drive up to Krabi/Phuket seems to have just faded off..... besides, I checked on the hotel rates during December. Gosh, its easily double the rates of that before October (low season).
