That verbal voice when one has mail (PM)

Dear MCF admin,

 

Can you please remove that stupid verbal voice when we have a new PM? It is horribly annoying and sometimes it just plain irritating when I forgot to lower my speaker and I heard that damn voice the first thing I come into MCF in the middle of the night.

 

Or is there an option to off that thing? Why put such tasteless feature in the first place? Have you heard that voice? "yeah..I have mail, Yeah I have mail" and some other variations. I really don't need that. I can see for myself that there is new PM..thank you very much.

actually thou it doesn't really affects me, i think it's a good idea to do away with it. maybe just a "beep" or "door bell" sound would do if the admin feels there must be some noice to alert members of incoming pte msg.

i believe you can deactivate the voice, i had the same problem in the beginning

 

maybe you prefer a voice that say "Honey, you have private ...." or "darling, you have surprises in your private box" so that your wife can hear it in the middle of the night
