David Clutched May 24, 2007 Share May 24, 2007 I think a simple solution is to place a line of vertical stand on the stretch of road after the flyover to prevent traffic from turning left into Andrew Road will do. ↡ Advertisement

Reng Neutral Newbie May 24, 2007 Share May 24, 2007 I think this house owner should rent out his garden for use as the crash test site for cars. Now Proton already proof itself(May be price will increase),so who's next?

Sosaria Twincharged May 24, 2007 Share May 24, 2007 Car must have dropped down fairly level, then only rolled and inverted very near the ground. Can't imagine the car roof will still be in quite intact shape, if it really dropped 5 metres straight down; it should've been crushed flat . Driver is really lucky to escape without serious injuries. Sometimes, simple accident on the roads where the car rolls over - it's enough to kill the occupants on the spot - not to mention, add vertical drop of 5 metres! Patkuah Neutral Newbie May 24, 2007 Share May 24, 2007 "I asked her, "Did you come from the highway, from the flyover?" She said yes. I told her it's illegal to do a left turn from there because there's another slip road coming up and that flyover is supposed to go straight. She said she didn't know about it," said the owner of the house, Daniel Lee. How does it happens .... still can't figure out why it turn left will happen. David Clutched May 24, 2007 Share May 24, 2007 When u are coming down from the flyover onto Lornie Rd(from Upp Thomson Rd), you will merge with a road on the left. Also you will come to Andrew Road which can lead you to TCS, but you have to make a hard left. This would be made worse if you are travelling relatively fast on the flyover, which in most cases are. By right, if you are coming from Upp Thomson Rd wanting to proceed to TCS via Andrew Road for eg, you must use avoid going up onto the flyover. This is how it happened. Elfenstar 3rd Gear May 24, 2007 Share May 24, 2007 Quote No need ask LTA do something about it lah. The owner just convert his garden into a punji stick pit can already. Car come crashing down, driver confirm will be impaled and die. Then LTA will be forced to do something. There is no law against turning your garden into a giant booby trap. You are as evil as me I wasn't thinking of punji stick pit coz they would lose the garden, i was thinking along the lines of those sharpened tree trunks used in medival times as "fences" but this time angled so that the sharp bits face the direction most cars will travel ↡ Advertisement
