Am thinking of swithing my enitre detailing kit to duragloss, hope you guyz can enlighten me here,

1. which polish should I choose between #101 and #111 and #105? If I wan to use a DA to remove moderate swirls and sratches, will the duragloss polish be abrasive enough to remove the imperfections?

2. is the Detail Spray #921 neccessary if I were to get the Aquawax #951? I know #921 has cleaning agents in it, but will it remove the waxes I applied?

3. Does PBA #601 works the same as Polycharger?

SO for FULL DURAGLOSS Package I should get the following?

Duragloss Car Wash Concentrate #901

Duragloss Clear Coat Polish (CCP) #111 or Duragloss Polish & Cleaner (PC) #101 or Total Performance Polish (TPP) #105

Duragloss Polish Bonding Agent (PBA) #601

Duragloss Fast Clean & Shine Detail Spray #921

Duragloss Aquawax (AW) #951

Anymore items I should get? Sorry for so many questions.. [:/]

Yoz Bro,

1.#101 is a polish, cleaner which contain micro polishes. It does not work well with machine.More for doind manually.#105 is their new replacement of #111 and is a sealant.

2.Try not to use immediately after waxing.Give it a day or 2 and and you can start using. You can use #921 as often as you like and as for #951,use it on weekly basis.

3.I would say #601 is quite similar to zaino z1.Work like a glue for the sealant.Enhance durability and best the shine.

4.You should try the leather conditioner, good stuff as well.No oil film left behind. Is matt finished.

A piece of advice Bro,I used to use machine very often, the moment i see swirls,i will start using a machine to remove.A DA or a rotary and now i realise my paint i should say thinner. When i parked my ride with any other black ES , i find that their black are real solid and rich whereas my black is lighter in colour.

I wonder FD has the same colour code as me.U can take a look at this

http://www.mycarforum.com/forum/Aftermarke...nd_FD_P1871083/

check with Bro Clubace,we used to use machine quite often but now we stop for quite sometimes and we preferred using manually.I just close an eye for the swirls nowaday.

So I can assume the steps I need to take is

1. Manual Polish with #101 (2-3 months basis)

2. Apply PBA

3. Apply #105 Sealant

4. Apply my collinite wax (do i need another pba coat again?)

5. Maintain with #921 and #951

Can I procceed with step 1 to ste 4 straight within a day or need some curing time?

You need not have to apply PBA before collinite but after #105 best to let it cure for at least a day or 2 before #845

yo MD

need to ask, after the let it cure for 2 days?

do i need to wash the car again with #901 or just plain water will do?

Hi Folks

Sorry about coming in to disturb about this thread as i havent hit my 16th post so am not able to setup a new thread.

So far from my last 1 week of reading, i am totally blur especially with what products to use and the method of usage.

Not sure if this is safe, but i think these are the steps to detailing:

Exterior(Monthly or 2 monthly)

1.Shampoo Car

2.Claybar with Shampoo

3.Application of Sealant

4.Application of Wax

Internal

1.Dashboards

2.Others

3.Leather Seats

Exterior(Weekly)

1.Shampoo Car

2.Application of Wax

So far items of highly recommendation is as per below, not ranking in terms of any order:

Claybar==>Soft99

Sealant==

1.Meguair's

2.Soft99 Fusion

3.Autoglym

Wax==

1.Soft99 Premium Wax

2.Conillite 426

3.Duragloss 921

Leather

1. TurtleWax 2 in 1

2. Mother's Brand

Interior

1.Meguair's QD

2.Autoglym's

Tyre

1.Meguair

2.Blackmagic

3.TurtleWax

Hmmm now i was wondering, if it would be a good thing to do the following on a 2 monthly basis: Shampoo Car, Claybar(Soft99), Sealant(Soft99 Fusion), Wax(Soft99 Premium Wax/ Conillite 426, no idea which is better.)

Weekly Cleaning: Shampoo, Wax(Duragloss 521), + Interior Detailing inclusive of leather cleaning(Turtle Wax 2 in 1)

Kindly enlighten pls...

Bro,

Dun confused yourself..our routine is very simple..

1st week

1) wash with shampoo

2) polish

3) sealant

4) wax

Maintain with #951 weekly, after 4th week repeat steps again..

All this depend on individual, how you want to maintain yr ride..

for some of us,we layer sealant every week and some wax it every week...

For myself,

1st week,

1) wash with shampoo and clay

2) polish

3) sealant

maintain with AW,

2nd week

1) wash with shampoo

2) PBA

3) sealant

4) wax

3rd week

1) wash with shampoo and clay if necessary

2) PBA to strip wax

3) sealant

4) wax

4th week

Repeat everything again

No choice, mine 100% open car park even in the office and I frequent shipyards.

hmmm now i understand why urs is so intensive cleaning :), erm mine is a less then 2 month old car, also must polish? So far, i like never read anything about polishing yet. Erm i always thought claybar will help to remove wax and impurities on the car surface. Well that's my bad... [hur] Hmm m i am now pretty [dizzy] ....

Is PBA a must before sealant and wax? Cos i read that some folks do the conillite and the AW and it's done, and they maintain weekly with AW. Erm can i safely say that i must strip wax before reapplying?
