Maybe he refused to unlock his car to release handbrake?

 

they are using the King dolly. towed on all 4 wheels.

 

look carefully at the 1st pic. u will see 2 small wheels at the side of the rear presea wheel. Just like last time u learn to ride bicycle got 2 wheels beside laugh.gif

That's the proper way. Tow with all 4 wheels off the ground for 4WD.

 

oh.. but those who tow on 2 wheels, does it mean tow frontis fwd and tow rear is rwd?

U can say that.. Towing a car with its driven wheels on the ground can damage it..

Unless really at the truck's driver convenience and dont care.. [laugh]

huh? towing by front means fwd? by rear means rwd? i ever seen fwd cars beings towed by the rear..

 

it is suppose to be that way.

but some of the tow truck drivers ignore this.

i even see a Merc being towed from the front.hur.gif

Yeah i saw mani tow trucks dun bother.. like mentioned they received calls.. go there.. tow.. they might not even know fwd, rwd or 4wd...

 

if dis is the silvia that i hv seen before, the front also zhng till dun look like a presea.. when i saw i need quite a while to know its a presea..

It is actually quite different now. Last time repossessors are allowed to drive the vehicle if the have they key, etc. but now even with keys they are not allowed to drive the vehicle. And most of the banks, financial instuitions, etc will choose to use the King dolly as they are afraid later those owners complain gearbox spoil, this spoil, etc.

 

Anyway costs is passed to the owners so expensive also nvm [sly]

noep. it means that the car was parked either facing in or facing out. The fella wun care is fwd or rwd. only unless is 4WD den confirm need to use king dolly

 

they're using it because the rear wheels have got the brakes on.
