SBB8888 not end with B but T, EB1 not end with B but C

SS3S on a Merc E200 (My favorite no.)

SB88L on a Merc 320.

Spoke to the owner late last year who wants to sell SQ2E, EE2J, asking around $45K each. I think in the end bought by those number plate dealers, waiting to flip and sell to Lambo, Ferrari, Bentley richies.

Can give a gauge of how much the following numbers are worth taking into consideration the rear alphabet and number of digits.

SBB8U

SBB88M

SBB888X

SBB8888T

Unless the trader got ready buyer, if not i doubt they will buy over such plate tying down their cash flow. Anyway no. 2 is not well like.. who wanna be 2 when you can be 1! [laugh]

I can't give an exact indication but SBB8U and SBB88M easily worth 50k above. The remainder two numbers I won't invest much.

do you have contact with those who own the following no:

E1X

E7E

EA5Y

S55S

SS55S

and to answer those who are curious about how much those single digits may cost:

SGB2B = 30K

SGJ2J = 30K

SGP7P = 30K

SGT7T = 30K

SGM1X = 80K

SGG9G = 25K (NOT SUCCEEDED!)

to name just a few that i am aware of.

anybody here willing to share theirs?

Calculating Car Registration Number Last Alphabet

For the first 3 alphabets, use their numeric value - 64.

The constants are the code. Multiply constant to each respective numbers.

Then add up all the figures and divide by 19. Use the remainder to reference the string of alphabets.

Using the licence plate number SCE1234Z as an example:

The numeric value of 'S' (uppercase) is 83, so you take 83 - 64 to get the value, which is 19.

'C' is 67 - 64 which is 3 and 'E' is 69 - 64 which is 5.

Now you have a string of numbers, 19, 3, 5, 1, 2, 3, 4.

Multiply each of this to the constant(value that does not change) 3, 14, 2, 12, 2, 11, 1 respectively.

Now you will get a new set of values which are 57, 42, 10, 12, 4, 33, 4.

Total this set of number 57+42+10+12+4+33+4=162

Divide the total of 162 by 19 to find the remainder.

The remainder is 10.

Using the string of alpha,AYUSPLJGDBZXTR, the number 10 alpha is the last alpha to the number plate. Note that you start with Zero, hence position for 'A' is zero.

The numeric value of alphabets are as follows. Starting with 'A' with a value of 65, 'B' with 66 ............ till 'Z' with 90.
