Symantec9 2nd Gear May 16, 2007 Share May 16, 2007 - Battery so far die twice in the past 2 yrs - Power window drop The above 2 realli enough.. I hate the hassle of having to go service centres for such manufacturing faults.. Is it the battery poor quality or the alternator having problem??? ↡ Advertisement

Genie47 1st Gear May 16, 2007 Share May 16, 2007 I believe it is the MF batteries. All of them are bombs. Ask anyone with an MF battery here. Any lasting more than 2yrs is a miracle already!

Dualie Clutched May 16, 2007 Share May 16, 2007 Hi, I'm driving the FL M2 since 12th Feb this year... So far the good points... Good handling around corners Reasonable FC for a Conti (12km/l) Good sound insulation All round airbags Good service staff Can request for courtesy car while they service your car (subject to availability) Bad points include... Lousy experience with the SE that served me Lousy stock HU/speaker... volume seems to fluctuate even with speed volume off Has sent my car in for water ingress into floor compartment problem 2 times... going in again soon as problem not solve... Not a very serious problem, but very irritating... As above, referring in particular to Renault Megane, is it true? Is fuel consumption for Megane high? Like to hear comments, good and bad, for this car.. Thanks

Green_carnation Clutched May 16, 2007 Author Share May 16, 2007 yeah, those are the good points dat made me look out for a megane especially insulation & handling.. i m currently driving nissan sunny.. the sound proofing for the roof is v bad.. whenever it rains it gets real irritating... water ingress into floor compartment? u think it's not serious? to me it sounds quite bad..
Chucky2007 Turbocharged May 16, 2007 Share May 16, 2007 sunny roof insulation i would agree is TERRIBLE. its the noisiest when its raining.. how come? japan no rain? but u can consider doing sound proofing at rood area instead of change car. sure cheaper. Archon 2nd Gear May 16, 2007 Share May 16, 2007 Hi, saw your previous statement "Lousy stock HU/speaker... volume seems to fluctuate even with speed volume off " This could be switch off. The volume of the speaker will increase when the roadholding noise increase. Pls read your manual.
