Screeching sound when tapping brakes.

Hi all,

I got this metal screeching sound on my 8000km old Sunny whenever I tap my brakes. Is it brake pad running out or just some particles stuck in between the pad and the disc?

Maybe Brake finished........But only 8K..........Seldom Happen......

Check properly,maybe the sound is not from the rotor but the drum

I used to experience this for a while after my 10k km servicing. Maybe the mechanic tighten ur brake abit too much when they serviced ur car at 5k km (something like that..) . Go and check with ur mechanic again...

Ya, I doubt so. Sian, hv to book a slot this Fri, maybe take a day off from my work as well...
