Agree.

When I was younger...there are even those that got the green light from their father to ride the bike w/o licence to run errand (within the estate). [;)]

With automatic transmission vehicle being the trend now, it makes it even more easier for kids to drive their father's car, without a licence.

For the undergrad's case, it's a reminder to us to always be alert when driving. Could happen to any of us, really, if our attention wavers, even for a moment, especially when driving through pedestrian crossings, or turning left or right through a crossing.

As for the teens, it's just sheer bad luck that they run into a police road block. Been driving for many years, but only ever encountered one road block so far! [sweatdrop]

Well, in case you have been in Mars all these years, people get knock down and killed by cars everyday by reckless teens/preteens/kids/uncles/aunties/grannys/etc, in Sillypore, Malaysia, USA or watever country you can think of. (okay, maybe not in Antartica)

Secondly, driving without license is very common since the 60s and 70s, my dad and uncle did it before. I use to do it in carparks, heck who cares then? That least they caught one right? Name me one country that you think everyone drives with licenses?

Thirdly, your 2 posts seemed to carry a hidden agenda, perhaps you resent gahmen and are trying to relate the two cases to the mistakes made by our gahmen? Unless those 2 idiots are PAP people or elites, thenyou are out of point in the wrong forum :)... shouldn't you post this in sammyboy instead?

have a good day.

oh ya. clutch somemore.

haven't driven a lorry before, but i 'heard' lorry harder to stall engine (i.e 4/5 clutch instead of half it still can move off instead of stall).

We are already in trouble when a noble job like civil service needs $$$ as a dangling carrot. [:|]

have a good day.

I believe that if one brags about being the one number city of the world, corrupt free gahmen, best security in sillypore, critise our benign neighbours, capital puinishment (I think we are the highest or close to it), sillyporeans are up to the @rses with debts from housing including cars, sillyporeans pay alot to own a car (COE, Road tax, ERP, carpark charges, insurance premium going up, etc)

who is then reponsible for our roads and safety of our children and drivers?

when you and I grow old we don't want to die tragically or being put away in some far far lala bye land just because I can't cross the road properly

within just a week or so, there are so many drunk driving and now this?

isn't it the police force duty to take care of the rest of us who don't? Why are there no serious action taken like education and so on.

there is a good posting here eg why build carparks near a pub or bar if you are not suppose to drink and drive

we sillyporeans are so well taken care of that we have hardly any say in the way our road are management let alone public transportation.

If we have a good public transport I am sure many of us would have given up driving long ago. You do remember, removing bus routes because they are not profitable, remember safety issue not to allow taxi drivers with bright advertisement on the taxi top but now can, etc.

We have to move forward, what we can get away in the 60's and 70's should not be happening now especially when there are measures that can be taken.

Yes, these occur in many countries but sillypore is just a red dot on the world map. when F1 racing takes place in sillypore in the near future, are we to accept that there would be more potential teenage (without licence) dare devil racing driver trying their luck.

I alway feel where roads are concern, from history, it must take more deaths on the roads before something is done.

why feel sorry for those victims when we collectively may be able to do something especially the gahmen
