Would like to find out more about this tyre's characteristics, I just got this set, replacing my 2 year old Potenza RE050 which is a huge improvement in the road noise dept. No idea about the grip levels compared to the RE 050 though. Any comments?

Slightly above $300 per piece, but I didn't pay for it~ 215/45/r17 if I remember correctly

What has it got to do with cc?

CSC3 very [thumbsup] but downside is price a little steep cos it's a ultra high performance tyre. Top choice for continental brand of tyres.....excellent grip

So far, I think this is the best tyre I have ever tried. I was on Toyo T1R before and the feel isn't good at all, the side walls seem too soft. The only thing about CSC3 is that it is expensive. Another good tyre is F1 Eagle.

Too bad the tyres were changed without my knowledge [mad] I was going to try korean brands, but well end up with this, I must say the noise levels have taken a nosedive.

Damn right its expensive [knife]

well, just changed mine from F1 (German) to CSC3 at 225/40/18 profile. Was on my original factory-spec RE-050 for 1 yr before changing to F1 for 2 yrs and followed by the CSC3......

in terms of performance, I will say RE050[sweatdrop] but that said, I will not hesitate to change to another set of CSC3 when I change my ride....

Can't comment about the comparison, but I used it for nearly 2 years.

Positives - excellent braking, water drainage, comfort

Negatives - steering less precise than tyres of same price due to softer sidewall

Neutral - fairly quiet for a performance tyre, pretty expensive too

Am going to get RE050 for my new ride as OE tyres.

How is the comfort and treadwear for the RE050?

Camshaft is the part of engine compressed air distribution mechanism ,Take the responsibility for driving specially valve is opened and closed on time ,Role is guarantee, engine is in work timing suck in fresh combustible hybrid air for cylinder, and will burn in time rear waste gas discharges cylinder. Camshaft directly passes to rocker arm drive valve ,Apply to the car engine of high rotational speed very much ,Because of rotational speed is higher ,Exhaust for that guarantee enters and transmission efficiency ^Easier main transfer machinery and reduction are high noise and the vibration of rotational speed, adopt top to put type valve and top to put type camshaft, Like This and The structure who hair motive is comparative compact Too. But the any thing has both sides , top puting the shortcoming of type camshaft is to be more complex because of the arrangement design of parts, repair to also compare trouble. But measure advantages and disadvantages, it or comparison suits car.

Car engine is according to top put the number of camshaft, divide into top to put single camshaft and top to put two camshafts. When adopt the valves more than two per big jar, valve puts form in order it is two to have generally:

One is inlet valve and the mixture of exhaust valve to put in order on a camshaft ,Carry to put single camshaft (SOHC) another is inlet valve and exhaust valve to divide row on two camshafts. All valves of the former pass through the drive of ejector pin by a camshaft ,But because of valve in intake duct located location difference ,So, can not keep the accuracy of movement ,result want adv poor One ,Then person has no this shortcoming ,May get better performance ,But need to allocate a camshaft ,This is top to put type two camshafts ( DOHC ) ,The new engine put out in recent years adopts this kind of form. Generally Speaking, the sport of DOHC is higher, there are comparatively many F1 applications of racing cycle, but complicated because to make Technology and The cost is relatively High; The relative disposition of SOHC is more simple , use has better endurance, the power requirement concerning meet general customer may also meet the requirement of it for economy.

Thanks, but I don't have a choice. My S/E already chose for me because the size is not so common.

Next round, I will choose PS3 or CSC3 or F1 Asym.
