inlinesix Hypersonic May 11, 2007 Share May 11, 2007 Currently, certain part of the track has no road. When this road is build, will it b accessible 2 d public?
Yc86 Clutched May 11, 2007 Share May 11, 2007 (edited) yawn... Doesn't look very technical, maybe difficult because of the narrow roads that's all. Edited May 11, 2007 by Yc86
Dynaway 1st Gear May 11, 2007 Share May 11, 2007 i wonder if they'll ever close all that road n hold a local race for normal production cars jus for the locals.... my guess is not.... will more likely become a "FT" track.... only meant for the imported "talents" where theya re considered 1st class... LT standard still 2nd class only.... without a permanent track, i guess talk so much kork also useless abt promoting motorsports here.... local talents will still be stuck using LCK, Tuas, OG, GP & PG.... Felipe 3rd Gear May 11, 2007 Share May 11, 2007 the idea of a race track is good. but in land scarce sg, we can't afford to build a perm race track. we still have to look to msia for race tracks. thats just unavoidable. as for the F1 circuit. i was hoping they use some of the tunnels in city hall orchard area. that will make things more memorable, like monaco. hopefully, the track gets a slight adjustment. Inimatad 1st Gear May 12, 2007 Share May 12, 2007 I think the case of street circuits over tracks (like Sepang and Monza) is that its more glamorous. Bernie has said that the FIA wants to bring F1 to the people and not the other way. We usually waste up to 2 hours driving from KL centre to Sepang on race days and even worse after the race. Ours is great - just a few MRT stops away and easy access to aircon places and drinks...
Lorinser 1st Gear May 12, 2007 Share May 12, 2007 This new circuit map is different from the original. This time they removed the route thru the Suntec circle.

Corgan Neutral Newbie May 12, 2007 Share May 12, 2007 cannot la.. what if a piece of the ceiling drop onto one of the F1 car how?
Corgan Neutral Newbie May 12, 2007 Share May 12, 2007 but imagine the view from the flyer, will be damn shiok sia..
Lawman123 Neutral Newbie May 12, 2007 Share May 12, 2007 can't imagine those people working OT nearby the route. Imagine the level of noise generated. Also, cannot imagine if these cars plunge into one of the building .. another 911? In a high speed racing, accident is unavoidable, especially when the race is not on a proper racing track. Unic 1st Gear May 12, 2007 Share May 12, 2007 insurance premium for those buildings near the track sure goes up next year. ↡ Advertisement
