err.... ya, "interesting" is the word....

not easy to figure out, and the msg not very clear, quite forgettable and doesn't inspire anyone to go to the showroom....

good effort and avenue for advertising, bad ad though......

Turbocharged

Bad until can remember though. [laugh]

I like the Ah Beng Subaru ad, especially the X'mas and CNY one. Especially like the part about Ah Beng's killer whale.

I tot the radio ad was done in bad taste. They should try to sell skoda on it's own credit eg. reliability, built quality (w/o having to draw comparison with VW), etc.

tot so too....at least they're trying to promote the car [:/] but not original enough. The subaru ones are the best.

I think the ad say something that the skoda looks like another german car. The 'owner' reply that it's the same (or something like that) but not the high price...and that he is not paying for the badge.

I feel the ad is to lengthy and lack focus of the kind of message they want the listeners to hear.

Better effort than before where they didn't even have any ad for Skoda...which was a shame. [;)]

wonder which agency did they engage to do the copywriting & who in the AD approves it ? tongue.gif

bad ads or substandard ads need two hands to clap. But of course if the client wants to cut costs and use their own in-house 'creatives', then they only have themselves to blame lor .....

Class 90.5, funny that the guy in the advert mentioned that his dad previously owned a skoda so that's why he bought one as well as he knows its really reliable...Hmmm...skodas in singapore for not more than...say 7-10 years???

I was 'laughing my head off' when I heard that. It was such a huge lie. IT was the exact opposite.

That's why I feel that the Skoda's ad should capitalised on it's strength....which isn't difficult to list them out.

Not heard it but thanks for giving us the low down.

I guess how they plan to position themselves is very important, the class and the message they want to get across and deliever.

Hope that they read this and do something about it.
