How do I know ifmy amp is still working?

Question.. I have taken out my amp for almost a year.. and intend to sell it. How do I ensure it is still working? dat is, besides after installing it. I dun wish to sell to the buyer and end up causing him the inconveniences if it does not work..

simple, easiest way.

 

1) get/borrow a 12V power supply at home, power up the amp, attacj CD player to it and attach to any cheapo spkr. if got sound then its working. whether it sounds goodo r not, that one i duno.

 

2) if u don have 12V power supply, get some spare cables(spkr cables also can).

 

go to ur car, open the hood, attach the 2 cables, 1 to +ve and 1 to -ve on the battery. hot wire the +ve to the "rem" to power up the amp. then take some MP3 player, get those rca cables that are like " one end RCA, other end is headphone jack", can be bought from any best denki, plug in the mp3 player into the amp then get any raw spkrs and wire the amp to the spkr. if no sound means amp is HK liao. if got sound then still working.

 

these are 2 ghetto ways.

 

ebst way is to bribe a friend who has an easily accessible ICE setup to swap out the amp to test ur amp.
