Venom speed

I was driving off the NUS exit of AYE toward Jurong last night when I came upon this huge-ass convoy of cars most bearing the "Venom Speed" stickers on the side.

 

Impressive ler, they have Evo, WRX, 350Z, Civics, there was even a Avante with a GT wing! There must have been 20-30 cars. Did anyone else spot this mobile motorshow?

Impressive? you must be too young to realise these ppl are just buying time before they get their driving license 'kantong' for good!

Young age is a relative term, impressive is the variety and the numbers of cars they manage to get to come out and wear the same stickers.

 

When I saw them, they were driving slowly (how else could you drive in such a huge convoy) and so there wasn't anything points-losing about what they did.

 

For the record, I'm not wishing I was one of them. Wait get stopped by TP for no reason and sent to LTA. But my car is stock and slow anyway.

I remmeber there are more than 40 of them on monday evening.

was with my friends after KTV session..then supper at West Coast Mac..at about 1am, spotted this group wearing venom speed polo-t..so yup, that's where they go..

furthermore i can see some "CMI" cars bearing VS logos, made me think that they've became decorative decals...

just brought this old thread up... cause lately i keep seeing them VS logos... last i saw on a Kia cerato...

 

i remember them being interviewed on the straits times before very long ago... i remember seeing them along Orchard Road contributing to massive noise pollution... i tink i would classify them as hell drivers...

 

but a part of me goes 'wow' wenever i see them cars... always felt their cars always 'packed a punch' and the members are pretty good drivers... etc...

 

but wonder whats with this group/gang nowadays... how happening are they??? curious curious....
