at the end of day, boring or not is up to you. :) even if u live in a place with many places to visit you can still find it boring if you don't like those things.

the important thing is to spend time with the family. some quality time at an open park or field is also nice.

Go sentosa ad camp out at the outdoor area of Koufu food court (its by the lagoons). Nice sea breeze, sheltered from the sun, sand and water for kids to play. My 3yr old can spend a few hours just digging away at the sand it while his brother spends the whole afternoon on playing on the artifical stream and fountain.

Just grab some drinks or snacks from the stalls and the adults can stone there for the whole day. Food is pretty decent at downtown foodcourt price.

Which is better? BTP or BTV, from a family's perspective?

I click on the events on the website & it showed me the BBQ menu. [rolleyes]

I clicked on the special menu, it showed me more food menu. [dizzy]

Intend to head down this weekend to 'burn' my 6 yr old excessive energy.

MBris,

BTP is the newer joint and I personally prefer this over BTV. BTP has more a children's playground and also a kampong-like pond. The last time I was at BTP, I saw many kids and their minders catching little fish at the pond. BTP is also more scenic in my own opinion.

Regards

CS

1. Ya man, anotehr super boring Sunday. Probably can try out BTP later. Weather is crazy lately too.

2. Hey, the best bet is to migrate. City living is just too hectic. How I wish they allow Singaporean to take up residence in Pulau Ubin. I like the kampong living, just like the Shek-O in Hong Kong. Very soon, Singaporean is only meant for rich people, if you want to stay, better work until you step into the coffin and then you can RIP.

Used to be KFC right? Last time KFC waiters and waitresses one. Yap, next door is Fast East Flora, after makan can go shop for gardening needs if not go slightly further down to Ikea or Queenstown shopping centre (see shopping centres again). Anyway, Queenstown reminded me of the only 200 plates per day Char keow Tiao stall.

bring your wife n kids go see showflats, get some inspiration and motivation.. go for cruise, weekend getaway. or yeah maybe can go lengkee go check out the latest cars and promos.

I see showflats until heart pain. I lose money in properties so I've given hope on SG properties as a small timer. When I looked at the property prices of corner houses and bungalow in neighouring countries, so tempted to go and buy and then migrate for good.

Regards,

How to compare neighbour houses to ours?? one 1st world country other 3rd world countries.

It is like you say wah Mercedes A Class 1.5L cheapest also close to a $90k, I might as well get a korean car, can get big big SUV 2.7L V6 somemore........ or even better get a big China car at a fraction of the cost.
