Attached is the receipt and job done for 50K service, I bought my own Amsoil ASL 5W30 from the famous oil shop here.

Was observing them and all I can say is great service from Autosaver. The mechs do their job well and Bobby the boss did the final work QC and ECU check himself. [thumbsup]

Signed up for the 2yr membership as members enjoy $15 off every service and 10% off parts, there is also a complimentary engine flush which I'm not interested in.

More info @ http://www.autosaver.com.sg

Do you get rebate when you buy your own engine oil? The 3M aircon filter which you bought, is it washable like the stock one?

I brought my own engine oil, got it from Terrence(Trex101). There is a $45 rebate if you bring your own oil.

Had a 10% discount on the 3M filter.

Its non washable, stock paper filter is also non washable.

I've been there to his store before to buy engine oil & spark plugs. Nice guy.

Sad to hear the 3M one is non-washable. My Sunny's stock one is washable. Wash it twice before. Moreover, instructions is stated in the glove compartment.

Strongly not recommended, the filter is designed for single use only.

Ya OK, but quite tempting to do it since new one costs $40...

Maybe vaccum is ok ?

Hi bro, may I know what is your ride?

I am also considering Autosaver when my ride's warranty expires. Did you do the servicing at Defu or Kaki Bukit?

if memory serves me right, altis and vios have their filter tray location located below the glove box.

but they sealed and need to be cut open and after that, the filter can be installed.

aircon filter is not only important for good qaulity air but also to reduce the cost of aircon maintainance in long run...the aircon filter prevent the dusk, and ther particles from going thru the cooling coil... the cooling coil, when operating, is wet due to condensation. Dusk and other foreign particle will stick to the cooling coil. when it is dry, it will form a layer of coating on the cooling coil... the process goes on and on and on... until 1 day, the cooling coil is "choke" with all the dusk and foreign particle coat. if u have seen a used cooling coil block without aircon filter protection, u'll know what i mean... the whole cooling coil block looks extremely dirty and "mouldy" and covers with thick layers of black stuff... Expect to spend not less than $450 for a cooling coil replacement/repair.

Paid $37.80 for the 3M filter after 10% discount.

I wanna ask... can 3M A/C filter be fitted to every car? Or do they come in a variety of sizes to fit different cars?
