When the driver behind you on Lane 1 is aiming a camera at you...

... Obviously he is trying to take a photo of your car.

 

Say a driver follows you straight to Lane 1 after entering the expressway. Then when you're checking your rear mirror, you suddenly catch sight of him steadying a camera on his steering wheel and aiming it at you.

 

1. What likely intentions could he have in doing that?

 

2. How would you react?

 

3. How likely is it that he is not trying to take a photo of your car?

Did u offend him in any way? maybe take pic and post here in MCF complaints folder [laugh]

Or maybe he just likes ur bodykit/decals.. sometimes i take pics of nice cars @ carparks too

 

Maybe u can change lane, brake and get in line with him to ask? or get bhind and take a pic of his car

 

as for Qn3.. maybe he's viewing pics in his phone, or trying to make a call when driving [:/]

As far as I can recall, I did not offend him in any way. [:/]

 

By capturing my rear, I doubt he can get any of my decals on film. The only thing he'd be capturing is my ugly dented boot.

 

When I noticed the cam, my first thought was " [shocked] WTF???" then I sped up and filtered all the way left.

 

I don't think I'd mind if someone took a pic of my car at a carpark bcoz he admires it. But to try and take a photo of a car when you're on Lane 1 going at 90+ km/h? Dunno whether he's just plain [hur] or has some important agenda....

I was wondering too! Came back and checked MCF and STOMP! [:p]

 

Only met him at a traffic junction before that and did not do anything to offend him. So I don't know what he would want with the photo of my rear. [confused] Anyway that car is kitted with sports rims too.

 

First thought was to siam, coz whether good or bad, I don't think I need or want the unnecessary attention. [sweatdrop]

If you had, perhaps can get the fella to take photo of the fella as well and send to TP for dangerous driving.

Sometimes i know some bros like to take pics of other cars because they like the design or mods or maybe the car is those rare ones.

 

But most of the time its harmless.

 

Some cars even have camera on their cars to tape their front/back view.

 

So dun worry, ur car image is most likely already on someones hard drive.

theres plentiful of such peeps arnd ... some wanna zheng, dun dare or no $$. see other zheng, eyes red...

 

wat can they do lots... but as long all is legal n valid, bo huey them ... if free notting to do, then can take a counter snap by front / rear passenger, then send to LTA / STOMP [pirate]

 

seen such parkers before ... that time one fella was standing in front of my ride + staring + walking arnd it, as i approaches... he pretend look at floor (next to my car), look at the wall+ walk off ... [shocked][shocked][shocked] ... anyway, i also go stare at the floor see got GOLD or $$ or not... maybe got a free COE or amp ... [laugh][laugh][laugh]

That driver is at fault too. He should not be handling the handpone while driving on lane 1 of the expressway.
