Does anyone know where I can get this adaptor?

Might I suggest you take a used/discarded open pod filter which has the diameter you want... then cut away the filter material and plastic frames, leaving the hose connection part and its tapered conical opening section.

I am trying to check out lor. should not as it will be away from the engine. I guess it should be able to withstand 60C.

Yah, I intend to make a hole and use this adaptor to connect the 3" tubing.
