I think your car 不识货, it's better off using some tortoise brand engine oil.

Using Castrol Edge 5w30, find engine noisy and not fuel efficient

Make sure it's Castrol and not Catsrol. [laugh] aka Adadis sport wear and Pensonic electrical goods.

I am currently on Castrol Edge with SPT. Done 4k so far, still smooth.

Previously on M1 EP and it was smooth till about 7k, when it turned rough and noisy. Will continue to monitor and if it lasts till 10k, I will buy bulk from AMZ.

No problem with importing engine oil from Amazon, as long as you keep the quantity low enough for personal consumption.

I'm using castrol edge with syntec (black bottle). Previous 2 rounds were using Mobil 1. Big improvement in smoothness and fuel efficiency.

Try Idemitsu Extreme Touring 5W40. Even better!

Have tried the O-40W one previously and it's not bad /public/style_emoticons/#EMO_DIR#/nod.gif /public/style_emoticons/#EMO_DIR#/nod.gif /public/style_emoticons/#EMO_DIR#/nod.gif

Currently on Motul which i feel is lagi better but of course pocket burns bigger /public/style_emoticons/#EMO_DIR#/tongue.gif

If your change

last you more than half yr. worth it.
