Liping24 Neutral Newbie April 25, 2007 Share April 25, 2007 Remember when double cab(four doors) pickup was popular 10 years ago, the government quickly imposed super high tax on such pickups to prevent normal citizens from using it as family car. Check out this new Peogeot VAN.....drives like a car, looks like a car, infact it looks good. Diesel fuel is cheap. Nine_eleven 2nd Gear April 25, 2007 Share April 25, 2007 (edited) who can tell if ur going above 70kph?? from far there is no way of telling that it's a G-plate vehicle... malaysian customs may be fooled to let you enter, considering they're not very on the ball in the first place... personalised plates in the future may make identifiying these van/cars difficult too... In fact 70km/hr is ample speed for ordinary road in Singapore. Expressway speed of 80-90km/hr is a risk....but HEY.....the TP with speed camera on overhead bridge will not easily realised its a van, unless there is some tell tale sign...like the TP got super sharp eagle eye can spot the licence plate fast enough! TP sent sunmon base on licence plate or base on your ride? What is speed CAMERA for? it is to catch you speeding and record down you licence plate.So base on licence plate,they will know what type of ride you are driving,dun need super eye. It comes in the same classification as a normal wagon/estate car, just that it is smaller size and doesn't have rear windows. If not my Mondeo Wagon can also pull off as Van??
