Just need to switch on aircon during rainy days to balance the internal and external temperatures. Turn the blowers away from you if you don't like the cold air. Hi, anyone can help? Kelvinnivlek Neutral Newbie September 24, 2014 Share September 24, 2014 Sometimes when it gets foggy, the demister will speeds out the demisting time. I've tried searching the forum, seems like no one had repaired the demister before.
Pisces69 6th Gear September 24, 2014 Share September 24, 2014 Hi, anyone can help? Mine spoilt after removing the tint. Anyone know where can I get it repair or replace? Those wires damm thin. Unlikely can b repaired. Now most cars already come with it as standard equip. so nobody install it as aftermarket anymore like long long ago. Switching on the A/Con wil remove any misting on the windows when it rains. Alternative is to replace the whole rear windscreen as the new rear glass wil have it already stuck on. Volvobrick Supersonic September 24, 2014 Share September 24, 2014 If you google you can find some methods of "painting" conductive paint over the damage parts. Not sure if it would work as I have not heard of anyone repairing the demister. Just live with it, if it is one or two lines affected, seldom use anyway. Alternatively, just drive faster than everyone else when it rains, and you won't have to worry about the rear view! Only need to look to the front! But still need to check the rear often for TP following far away.
