Flight_skoda's Octavia is Retiring

Dear Skodians and Octy Kakis,

 

My loyal 2001 Skoda Octavia will finally be traded in for a Toyota Camry this coming Friday. The Greenie-Octy has served me well over the last 5+ years and has 'suffered' the most abusive environmental damage in its initial years. Well, that's because I used to work in Jurong and near the sand-blasting shipyards.

 

Although the car has moved indoors for the past 2+ years, I can still see the scars of scratches, dings and dents. The hardworking transporter will be remembered and missed . Even my wife (who has taken over the car and used it almost daily to send and fetch my kids to and fro the baby-sitter's place) said that it is an extremely sturdy car and she has enjoyed driving it. Now, she has to get use to driving my current Hyundai Matrix.

 

Adios to a very good friend! I will miss the Octy...

Sad lah bro, everything in the car was stock except for the MoMo rims... alas the car was traded in last week liao. If not, it will be buffet time ...
