Fortress Clutched April 18, 2007 Share April 18, 2007 Japanese cars do have the tendency to have rotor warp issues earlier (a feel but no statistics to back me up)..due the thickness of the disc as the cars are lighter....

Brock 1st Gear April 18, 2007 Author Share April 18, 2007 That's what I thought so too. New rotors shouldn't be having this problem. Will find a day to go back to the installer to check.

Kb27 Supersonic April 19, 2007 Share April 19, 2007 Rotor warp can be caused by overtightening and uneven torque on the wheel nuts. Most cars have specific torque range for the wheel nuts. I wonder how many workshops used a torque wrench? Usually, you will see them use an air gun, followed by full force tightenting which is usually over-torqued. Fortress Clutched April 19, 2007 Share April 19, 2007 Learnt in life that nothing is free. The free servicing has been paid for in your buy(car), subsequent servicing is costing very high, due to the "insurance" by the company. In my view, I do not go back as there are so many things that are wear and tear, cannot think of one that is not...can you..try a situation, you car broke down with a fuel pump issue, toll to the agent and they say it is a wear and tear, you seems to be ransomed.
