Djcoolmax 2nd Gear April 16, 2007 Share April 16, 2007 depends on what you define as real. If you read around, the definition or syn-oil has somewhat changed and is not indicative of the 'real' stuff. Qns back to you, are you willing to pay top-dollar for the good stuff? If so, then I guess you should be looking at grp5 based oil. think Mxxtul300V is one of them.
Alant 1st Gear April 16, 2007 Share April 16, 2007 Have read in other car forums that RP is semi-syn. You can also do a search in Mycarforum.
Megalord Neutral Newbie April 16, 2007 Share April 16, 2007 (edited) The carrier oil is a group I. Guess this answers. But does it matters? Even so, its more synthetic than some of the fully synthetics out there. Edited April 16, 2007 by Megalord

Zakuii 1st Gear April 16, 2007 Share April 16, 2007 I guess for most cars in singapore, any engine oil is good enough, provided you do servicing on a regular basis. unless u driving porsche or ferrari, dun think you need any special oil.
